Aim of the study: Comparing the effect of amorphous calcium (ACC) from a natural source (gastrolite) and synthetic to that of the best-selling calcium supplements in the world today – calcium carbonate (Caltrate, Pfizer) and calcium citrate (GNC) in the osteoporosis model in animals.

Amorphical is currently conducting a number of clinical studies aimed to test the efficacy of amorphous calcium carbonate in several indications. Additional studies are being designed and are expected to be launched in the near future.

Accelerating the bone-building cells in space, will allow astronauts, at first, to stay longer in space station and soon also in Space Colony.
Now, more than 50 years after the first man landed on the moon, development of the Israeli company “Amorphical” is the preferred solution, with no side effects to prevent bone loss in space and of course, on earth.

Amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC) demonstrated:
1. 50% reduction in bone loss vs. Caltrate (Pfizer) and Calcium-Citrate (GNC)
2. 34% increase in bone formation induction vs. Caltrate (Pfizer) and Calcium-Citrate (GNC).
3. 37% increase in mechanical strength vs. Caltrate (Pfizer) and Calcium-Citrate (GNC).

מטרת המחקר: השוואת ההשפעה של הסידן האמורפי (ACC) ממקור טבעי (גסטרוליט) וסינתטי לזו של תוספי הסידן הנמכרים ביותר בעולם כיום – קלציום קרבונט (Caltrate, Pfizer) וקלציום ציטראט (GNC) במודל אוסטיאופורוזיס בחיות.
